In the spring of 2009, Raymond George, the owner of Global Roof Systems Inc., wanted to find a way to help out a local family. He came up with the idea to supply and install a roof system, free of charge, for a deserving family. We approached K97, Edmonton’s Classic Rock Station, with this idea and together we came up with “Terry, Bill and Steve’s 1st Annual Nail ‘Er Down” The Kontest was set up so that listeners were able to nominate a friend, family member, or even themselves on www.k97.ca. As part of the promo, each nominated home was also provided with a Free Estimate. We received over 150 entries over the course of 3 weeks. Some of the stories were funny and some were touching. In the end, only one name could be drawn and that name was Jordan McEarchern http://www.k97.cashapeimage_2_link_0
